Founded in March 2023, Travel Lit was born from a shared vision of two passionate professionals with extensive backgrounds in hospitality and global travel. One partner gained hands-on experience working internationally in the hospitality industry and currently works for MSC Cruises, while the other built an impressive career on land through various roles in the tourism and hotel sector.
Together, they saw the need for affordable, personalized, and intangible travel services – guiding clients with expert knowledge on bookings, accommodations, and tailored experiences.

Phumelele Mzelemu – Director of Operations
Phumelele is a vibrant young professional with a Diploma in Hospitality Management from the International Hotel School. Her career includes working with prestigious hotels such as The Oyster Box, Pavilion Hotel, ONOMO Hotel, and Belaire Suites Hotel.
Currently traveling the world with MSC Cruises, she has visited countries like Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, France, Madagascar, Seychelles, and Egypt. She also holds a Certificate in Officer of the Watch (Navigation) – a true sea and travel enthusiast.
